WAAAAH!!

Vlad is sick. Gave me a "you need to restart" message I've never seen before, then wouldn't, well, restart. At all. So I immediately hauled him up to the Apple Store. Genius Bar said there's be a wait time of over an hour; was more like 45 seconds. Turns out one of my RAM slots has failed; still under warranty, but they need to take him away for 7-10 business days to fix. *sniff* Guy moved my RAM into the other slot, so I could take him home and do a back-up. Then I remembered that the info for the stats project I promised would be done next week has all been downloaded already, so I've got to do a rush job on that, too. (But that's okay, as DVDs seem to take FOREVER to burn. And I need two of them just to backup the stuff I've got in iTunes, plus one for everything else.) So I probably won't be taking him back until tomorrow after all.

Hmph.

My poor, poor baby.

(This is what I get for buying right after this generation was released, instead of waiting till they had the bugs worked out. *sigh*)
